Welcome to the new newsletter!
Times, they are a changing...
First of all, a warm thank you to all my loyal SubStack newsletter followers. Your support means the world to me!
The exciting news is that our digital universe just got bigger. Welcome to The Digital Catalyst.
A bold new change of direction (an evolution)
For almost 15 years now, we’ve been focused on copywriting, and many of you have taken my copywriting courses. I’m proud to say that my top students have gone on to carve a career in copywriting, even replacing their jobs to go full-time.
In many cases, they’re making an income substantially more than they earned in their 9-5 grind.
Some of you have even told me that my help changed your lives, thank you.
It was out of the desire to help more people, more small businesses, and more entrepreneurs that The Digital Catalyst was born.
There’s huge uncertainty out there as organizations like Amazon, General Motors, Microsoft, Intel, and many more continue to announce huge layoffs.
I speak to more and more people who tell me they fear for their future.
They’re uncertain, insecure, and worried - worried that the job they rely on could disappear overnight - then what? The fear is real, it’s happening!
The Digital Catalyst - two strands
This is our mission statement:
“WE’RE ON A MISSION! To help small businesses and entrepreneurs accelerate growth and secure their future with digital/AI products and real human guidance.”
It’s clear that we’re intent on helping small businesses and entrepreneurs compete in an ever-evolving digital age.
That said, we also need you if you see the bigger picture of what we’re trying to achieve, and you believe there may be an opportunity to build a future working with us as a Client Catalyst (affiliate).

We’re just getting started; there are exciting times ahead.
This may be your chance to build your own security for the future, just in case (if nothing else).
Think about where you may or may not be in 6 months. Then decide.
What to expect going forward
The real purpose of The Digital Catalyst newsletter going forward is to keep readers informed of the latest trends in Digital and AI.
So let’s get started with that...
October’s Breakthrough: AI Became Your Full-Time Co-Pilot
The big news from the last month isn’t about a single piece of AI hardware - it’s about integration. AI is moving from being a separate tool you visit to becoming a seamless co-pilot embedded directly into the software you use every day.
This shift is mission-critical for small businesses and entrepreneurs (SBEs) who need to gain efficiency without complexity.
The Rise of the Automated Agent
The most powerful trend is the emergence of AI Agents; systems capable of planning and executing multi-step workflows. We’re seeing major moves that bring enterprise-level efficiency to small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Zoom Acquires Bonsai: Zoom is aggressively targeting the solopreneur market by integrating Bonsai, an all-in-one client management platform. The goal is to let Zoom AI Companion automate repetitive tasks, from scheduling follow-ups to generating complex proposals, all while maintaining a consistent client tone. This means full-cycle client management, from first contact to final payment, is now being automated.
AI Moves In-App: OpenAI and Google are transforming search and creation. Users can now use apps like Canva inside ChatGPT, streamlining creative work. Google is testing AI-generated search descriptions, meaning the authority of your content matters more than ever to secure high visibility.
Local Advantage and Hyper-Personalization
This deep integration of AI is driving two critical needs that The Digital Catalyst will address:
Systemization: When tools automate tasks, the business owner must step up to the role of strategic visionary. The skill of prompt mastery is no longer optional; it’s essential for guiding these powerful agents effectively.
Hyper-Personalization: AI is enabling real-time content tailoring. Brands are delivering custom offers and experiences based on individual preferences, creating a competitive jump that generic marketing can’t match.
The takeaway is clear: the Digital Skills Gap is turning into an automation imperative. Your business must adopt these integrated systems now to remain competitive and capture the growing pool of AI-driven customer discovery.
Till next time…
